end of April (long post)

Well almost the end.
Byron Bay was great. A bit pricey but great. I travelled with my mum something I hadn't done for years and now I remember why.
It was just more of a hassle because of her oxygen concentrator I never realised just how noisy that is to share a room with.
So didn't get a lot of sleep.

Went for lots of walks along the beach.
The wedding was lovely the groom and his grooms men wore white shirts and board shorts with new white thongs (flip flops). The girls all wore matching olive green dresses made by the brides mum. They carried yellow lilies and were bare foot
Little great niece(the bride and grooms daughter)wore a white dress with an olive green sash.Carrying a basket of
frangipanis and she had them in her hair as well.
She walked down the sand with her mother it was sweet.
she lasted quite a while before it was too much for her (she is only3 and half).
The bride wore a beautiful dress with a embroidered top and a full length skirt and an Olive green sash. She wore her hair down with a frangpani in it. She was beautiful I also had never seen her with her hair down before. She carried white lilies.
They had set up flags on the beach with their initials on them and they were flapping in the wind.
It was great even with tractors going by and people in swimming costumes standing around staring.

After the wedding we went to the reception which was at the top of the area where they were married. We were told it was finger food only so here we all are thinking party pies sausage etc. So we all had big lunches and yes it was those items to start with and then it mini kebabs, noodles in noodle boxes and then fish and chips in noodle boxes and then even dessert! Wow.
Here I was thinking well the kebab place is open 23 hours I might have a kebab when the wedding was over and we were full!
Took lots of photos but wasn't that happy with the photos I took with the new camera. Especially the outdoor ones but that was my fault I should have checked the settings and actually set it for outdoor instead of leaving it on standard setting but I got some good shots none the less.
So nice to see how over the years I was the one in every ones face for the photo taking and now that my sister has a easy to use camera she has taken over my role.

Everyone was so excited about the baby especially when my sister got to tell my brother and sister in law (that had been travelling and hadn't read their emails).
They fussed around me if I stood for too long and bought me water it was fun.
Bought baby its first outfit up there a cute romper and hat. It has dolphins on the front who's eyes glow in the dark.lol

I am going to buy a t shirt or outfit from every major place I visit like I do for the older kids. Cause baby has visited there with me.

Well instead of taking our time coming home I decided to travel straight though and then drove though a hail storm which freaked my mum out.

Spent Monday catching up on my sleep spent the day in bed reading and snacking (bad girl)
but I did have a good book to read.
Took the kids to the drive and saw horton hears a who and spiderwick as well on a another occasion. Went out with work to see a band at the RSL had a great night out.

Had my first hospital appointment and that took forever got there at 9am and didn't leave until almost midday. That's mainly because its a free clinic.
I actually see the doctor on the 7th of May as they now realise I must have extra care because of my age.
Only 3 weeks till we know what we are having. Can't wait.

Went in for ANZAC Day this year. They changed the routine and with all the talk of families having to march last I decided not to bring the kids. Got to see my friend Helen and her husband as well. We got to catch up.

One of my dh's workmates left so we had a day in town having lunch and then returning for drinks. (once again we were last to leave). But really could not afford to drink too much from a pub I was so stunned when four drinks set us back $26! really not pub goer's and never want to do that again would rather buy a case of beer or a casket and drink at the office it would have been so much cheaper. And we could have had food delivered and still would have money left over (when you combined how much the others also spent on brooze)

Nothing much else has happened the eldest son goes back today to TAFE and youngest son goes back to school tomorrow.

April 2nd

wuw the fourth month already,
I know I say it every month.
Easter went well. I got to meet the Easter Bunny at the shop and had my photo taken with him as well.

We had John Carol and Matthew over on Easter Saturday to Easter Sunday.

I had rushed out early on Easter Saturday to buy eggs etc. and then I dropped into work just before heading for home and found out that we had been given $10 worth of Easter Eggs from the owners of the store how nice was that?
So we had plenty of eggs in fact we are still eating some now.
Jonathon has only eaten one egg he was given so far.

Well this weekend we work emptying the pod (or the pool my mum has decide to call it this week)
Mum is hopefully going away to gosford for a friends birthday lunch that way we can get things done without being slowed down.

Next weekend is the wedding at Byron Bay looking forward to that seeing everyone.
Meeting Hayden for the first time.
Showing off some of my weight loss.
Catching up.

Its just mum and me going this time as Colin needs to stay here and take care of he house.
