Easter and Christening

We met the Easter Bunny. and she never cried. I really wanted the Easter Bunny snap as that was my first pregnacy photo I was nine weeks. We still hadn't told anyone at that stage.

For Melody's first Easter the Easter Bunny bought her a Puddle Duck book and three eggs. Aunty Jenny gave her a Bibly and the Whears gave her a Easter Bucket with four Rubber Duckies and filled with little eggs.

Also it was Melody's christening on Easter Sunday.
It was the first time my sister could make it to one of my chrildren's christening as she has been godmother to all of them and this was also the first christening dh's sisters never made it to!

Aunty Jenny and Uncle Bob came to the house and I had cuddles with Aunty Jenny. Arrived at the church and met everyone else there.
Mummy dressed me in my dress and everyone wanted to talk and meet me.
I sat with Mummy for awhile and I fell asleep.
I slept though the whole time I was being christened. At first it was me and my parents and my big brothers the we were joined by my godparents Aunty Jenny and Uncle Bob, 'Aunty' Carol and 'Uncle' John and 'Aunty' Helen and Joe who was at sea so Susan stood in for him.
After asking everyone to look after me and then declared my name Aunty Jenny gave me a cuddle and then Norm (the minister) walked me around the church and I was sound asleep.
After my Dedication. I woke up Mummy took my dress off. I had cuddles with my brothers and Michelle.
After the service people came and talked to Mummy and Daddy and me. I had a bottle and then we came home.




At home we had lots of visitors. Some people who were at the church and some who weren't.
Daddy bought out my highchair so I had a biscuit in my special holder. I also had lots of cuddles with many people I spent a lot of time on Susan's lap. I had a small break when Daddy and me had a little snooze. I even slept though the cutting of my cake (which I am told was very yummy).
Susan even used me as a table to eat her cake.
Then Mummy and I unwrapped presents that was so much fun I got some really nice stuff but I enjoyed the paper more then anything.
Just before it got dark everyone when home.

April update

Wednesday 4th went shopping in the morning had cuddles with Nana got weighed today 7.66kgp
Week 20
Thursday 5th Went shopping with Nana and had some time on her floor playing. Had my usual treat a lick of Daddy's ice cream.
Friday 6th Nana looked after me Mummy shopped and then we went out with Jonathon and I had my photo taken 21st tin.
Saturday 7th stayed home with Daddy. Mummy bought me a new toy a play gym I had a lot of fun playing with it.
Sunday 8th When shopping with Mummy and stayed home for the rest of the day
Monday 9th Woke up early. Went shopping with Mummy a couple of times used the baby seat in the trolley. Daddy came early he wasn't well.
Tuesday 10th When to Rooty Hill RSL with Nana for the Legacy Meeting and then had my photo taken with my doctor while Daddy went to the doctor then I got weighed I weigh 7.77kgs.
Wednesday 11th I am not well today so Mummy and Daddy took me to the doctors I have a temperature. and I am very whingy.

Week 21
Thursday 12th Today I am 21 weeks old. Mummy got my photos back today they were really nice but we only bought a couple. I did a little shop with mum and then I stayed home with Dad who is still home sick.
Friday 13th I am still unwell and restless so I went out on and off with Mummy all day so Daddy could rest. Mummy went to bed early.
Saturday 14th Mummy and I went scrapbooking we had a good time.
Sunday 15th I woke up coughing so Mummy and Daddy took me to the Children's Hospital at Westmead I had to be tested for Whooping Cough
I had a very unsettled day and was still coughing and throwing up.
Monday 16th 5 months old today..still not well but went shopping with Mum
Tuesday 17th St Patrick Day. Went to the doctors today and then went shopping with mummy and then later shopping with Jonathon.
Wednesday 18th Went shopping early in the morning and then had some time with Nana and my brothers.





Week 22
Thursday 19th Went shopping with Nana and stayed home. Then went shopping with Mummy and Daddy and had ice cream and threw up all over Daddy. I started my 23rd tin.
Friday 20th Went shopping with Jonathon and Mummy stayed home and played on Mummy and Daddy's bed rolling all over the place.
Saturday 21st Saw Aunty Jenny and Uncle Bob took Nana to the RSL wore my new Winnie the pooh outfit.
Sunday 22nd Had a day out on my own with my Daddy. He took me to the computer markets.
Monday 23rd We organised my christening and had a Dollar Smart visit
Tuesday 24th had lots of car trips today I also turned myself around on the mat.
Wednesday 25th we went to Music group today had a good time. Started my 24th tin
Had dinner out with Mummy and Daddy at Adam's Tavern.


Week 23
Thursday 26th Had my first teething rusk but I had to have ice cream first to add taste to my mouth.
Also had lunch out with Mummy and Carol went shopping. Started 210mls.I weigh 7.86kgs
Friday 27th 'Aunty” Carol was visiting went to the op shops. Put my arms out for Daddy to pick me up.
Saturday 28th Had my first tin of vanilla custard
(I had about a quarter of a can), Saw Karen and family. Back to 180mls
Sunday 29th Rolled over for the very first time on the floor.
Monday 30th Moved to my cot today wow I have so much room now. Also went shopping with Mum
Tuesday 31st Rainy day stayed in and had some time with Nana and later went shopping with Rowan. Had third of a tin of vanilla custard
Wednesday 1st Started my 25th tin today. Went to Penrith for the first time. Enjoyed chocolate custard today.







Week 24
Thursday 2nd bought a cot today. Went to Dollar Smart. Went shopping at Seven Hills with Dad..Had my first feed in a high chair.
Friday 3rd I did have a very early morning. Jonathon looked after me this afternoon while Mummy had a nap. I weigh 8.22kgs
Saturday 4th Stayed home with Dad I missed my Mum while she was out. Mummy gave me fruit custard I didn't like that so she gave vanilla yum!
Sunday 5th Daddy put my high chair together and I had fun sitting up so high but I was too distracted to eat my solids.
Monday 6th I got a new bath today a bight green one. Took Jonathon to TAFE..Back at drinking 210mls.
Tuesday 7th Starting a new formula today NAN2 also changed teat size from 2 to 3's. Got a doona for my cot and pocket holder for my cot.
Wednesday 8th Music Group had fun I got to roll all over the place. Also went to Dollar Smart and had a giggle with the shop owners Brian made me laugh the most. Had my first biscuit in my special holder.


Week 25
Thursday 9th Went shopping with Nana then met the Easter Bunny with Jonathon and then went out with Dad.
Friday 10th Good Friday went to visited Mr and Mrs Batty from next door..
Saturday 11th Easter Saturday mummy daddy and I had to pick up my Christening cake and more food for the party started my 2nd tin of Nan 2 my 27th tin.
Sunday 12th Easter Sunday my first visit from the Easter Bunny and my christening lots of people for a party.
Monday 13th Today I rolled back and forward and rolled over to daddy.
Tuesday 14th went shopping got some new toys I rolled over heaps I ate a full tin of vanilla custard.
Wednesday 15th had big cuddles with Rowan in the evening. I weigh 8.10kg.







Week 26
Thursday 16th I am 6months old today went to the dr's with Nana.28th tin 3rd one of Nan 2.
Friday 17th went scrapbooking with Mummy and had fun rolling all over the place
Saturday 18th had a whingy afternoon I am teething
