almost easter

Easter has sprung really quick this year.
I now have been working at Dollar Smart for a year now.
I now work two days a week.
I also don't seem to have much luck keeping my juniors though. I had one leave about Sept last year and now I have to get another new one as my Friday junior has left as well.
No I'm not that bad they just have moved on to what i term as a "real job".
They have finished uni and have got jobs in their field of study.

So in about a months time I get a new junior.
It will be a younger person about 15 or so.
This easter will be spent emptying out the shed.
Should find some interesting things then.
We also have hired a skip so we will be doing a huge clean out ans then fixing mum's place and putting some of her stuff into the shed as the pod has to go next month.

Diamond is doing well enjoying her walk every morning 6am.

March

Wow its the third month now hasn't the year flown by.
We now have new roofs.
We are so happy.

Mum's stuff is on the lawn in an Storage Pod (or the I-pod as mum calls it)
She is now talking about revamping her place when the insurance company replace the carpet and her furniture that was damaged due to the roof leaking.
She is going to have a lounge now and revamp her bedroom.
So the boys will have to share again or we will just have to have them back in the house! (oh no!)
No more fun for mum and dad just kidding.
We are hoping when they finally do the awnings that are riddled with holes that we can borrow against the home loan and get a screen room put on the front of the house for the gym equipment.
Also thinking of getting a demountable for the yard so one of the kids or both can have their own little house till they want to move out on their own (yeah right like that will happen).

My company had a farewell party last week for one of our group who had to give his job with us as his uni hours changed and couldn't swap with anyone.
I took eldest ds and he had his first drinks out at the RSL. It was a different experience as he was drinking and I wasn't (I'm trying to lose weight for the wedding). HAd a good night very different when you don't drink though.
The music was good.
I also got an extra shift I now work Friday as well as Tuesday's. A little bit extra never hurts.
A few other things have happened but will talk about those another time.
